Barn

The barn is done in traditional timber frame construction. It was drawn up from elements of a 14th century barn that is still standing in England. It has a cruck frame , brick floors and plaster fills the space between the beams.

The upstairs is used as the artists studio for the creator of Benedictine Farm. When gardening slows in the winter months , she works with textiles and is apprentice to a Master Cordwainer.

The ground floor serves as our harvest shop; honey, eggs , bouquets, and vegetables. Open by appointment in Spring 2025 and fully open to the public in 2026 .
